'Light Shimmer' is an original 91 x 91cm (36 x 36 inch) artwork.
 
I'm fascinated by the way that light falls on objects and continuously casts itself throughout the day.
 
The light shimmering on the ocean was beautiful today - it danced on the waves and skipped along the surface, casting magnificent prisms this way and that, shining with and reflecting a subdued, tremulous light. Gleaming faintly, it appeared to quiver or vibrate whilst forming a wavering image, by specular reflection off the waves.
 
Implying a feeling of serenity, this artwork creates a gentle feeling of freedom and enlightenment.
